International Relations as a Social Science Working Group

Description

Behind science lies impartiality: results obtained in a scientific way are considered as true and trustworthy. As such, researchers could escape their own biases and present a true picture of the social phenomena they were looking at. At least, it is what we thought. Thgis panel looks at how philosophy of science applied to IR helps us better understand how we think about theories and makes us apply (or reject) a specific theoretical framework to a case, and what it reveals about ourselves and about our time.
