The handbook Manuale di politica estera (Il Mulino 2023) aims to provide a systematic overview of Italian foreign policy and to direct the agenda for future research on the subject. it is not only an analytical tool that brings together the knowledge accumulated over the years within internationalist political studies but also a component of an academic response to a renewed interest in Italian foreign policy in a period of international transition that increasingly demands adequate knowledge of Italy's action in Europe and the world. The main focus is on policy formulation and decision-making.
