This study offers a comprehensive exploration of the pivotal role political rituals have played in bolstering the sustainability of governance of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Xi'era. Utilizing the innovative approach of auto-photography and drawing from the theoretical paradigm of authoritarian resilience, the research meticulously dissects the metamorphosis of political rituals, emphasizing their transformation into a prominent political institution. The narrative intricately illustrates how such political rituals, through time, have been instrumental in amplifying the legitimacy of the CCP's governance. Notably, they have been adept tools in consolidating citizen loyalty, fostering unity, and serving as crucibles for genuine interaction between the state and its people. Furthermore, the findings shed light on the adaptive strategies employed by the CCP, showcasing its agility in revamping and refining its ritualistic endeavors to ensure their continued relevance amidst shifting sociopolitical contexts.
