Description

This paper seeks to examine the relevance of African philosophy for the practice of Africa’s IR. It begins with an analysis of some concepts and approaches to international affairs that could be argued to be uniquely African. It also proposes to examine the idea of unique methodologies for International Studies in Africa. It concludes that we need to move cautiously in attempting to find uniquely African philosophical grounding for Africa’s international affairs.
