The paper questions the narrative of 'normalcy' flown in international arena and who are the benefactors of this manufactured news? It address two main sections in great detail, one is security and second is the condition of Afghan women.
The paper talks in detail about the aggravating security situation in Afghanistan with the rise of identity politics and suppression of ethnic minorities in the country. Discriminatory policies pursued by Taliban is causing ethnic cleansing and creation of a Pashtun centred Afghanistan. This development will threaten peace and stability in asian region at large as increasing cases of extremism and terrorism will be seen in Russia, China, Pakistan, India and Central Asian countries. The geo politics of the region will also alter as Russia, Iran, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan will increase their intervention in Northern Afghanistan thats inhabited majorly by Tajiks, Uzbeks, Hazaras and other ethnic minorities. Second section will deal with condition of Afghan women and their struggle to counter oppressive regimes will be dealt with and approximately 20 Afghans both men and women have been interviewed for the same.
