The paper questions the narrative of 'normalcy' flown in international arena and who are the benefactors of this manufactured news? It address two main sections in great detail, one is security and second is the condition of Afghan women.
The paper talks in detail about the aggravating security situation in Afghanistan with the rise of identity politics and suppression of ethnic minorities in the country. Discriminatory policies pursued by Taliban is causing ethnic cleansing and creation of a Pashtun centred Afghanistan. This development will threaten peace and stability in asian region at large as increasing cases of extremism and terrorism will be seen in Russia, China, Pakistan, India and Central Asian countries.
