This June, we are running a workshop to support the learning and teaching skills of our wider membership. While this workshop is aimed at those in ‘mid-career’ it is open to all members. Non-members can also join for a higher fee.

 

The aim of the workshop is to provide you with opportunities to build on your skills and confidence as an educator, and to share existing experience and knowledge. The workshop will cover classroom-based teaching activities as well as assessment, and we are also delighted to offer a full afternoon workshop session on public speaking aimed at improving lecture skills.

 

This workshop provides a really unique opportunity for mid-career and other interested members/non-members to receive professional expert training and advice at a very discounted price, which is a fraction of the market rate. Lunch and refreshments are included.

 

The workshop will take place at the Exchange, Centenary Square, Birmingham the day before the our 2024 conference.
