The BISA Emotions in Politics and IR Working Group, in tandem with Brill's Critical Emotion Studies book series, are delighted to announce the winner of the 2024 thesis prize:

 

Winner: Suzanne Klein Schaarsberg (Tilburg University), 'THE Way OUT IS IN: An Ontological Exploration of the Political Imaginaries of Contemplative Activism'.

 

Please join us to hear Suzanne’s cutting-edge work, and to hear reflections from judges. The editors of the new Brill book series Critical Emotion Studies will also say a few words about their plans for the series.
