We are excited to extend an invitation to you to join the next event from the Global Health Working Group. This will be a book talk on Dr Loba Hirsch's book Antiblackness and Global Health.
Speaker: Dr Lioba Hirsch
Dr Lioba Hirsch’s recently published book offers a new account of the 2014-2016 West African Ebola outbreak and through it explores the racial politics of global health. It offers a comprehensive critique of antiblackness in global health and looks to Black Studies for the critical toolkit with which to question and challenge contemporary racial inequalities in global health practice and politics.
