Beyond the PhD: Excursus on postdoctoral funding application

PhD represents a significant phase in one’s academic ambition and career pursuit. While the PhD journey represent an important milestone, there is need to plan beyond this journey in extending the impact to the research and academic communities. The aim of this training is to enlighten BISA African working group’s PhD researchers about the tricks and traps of postdoctoral fellowship, funding sources, modes of application and writing successful grant application. The training will be delivered by Dr Dung Jidong.     

This event is open to all members and they are welcome to apply but limited spaces would be guaranteed for PhD researchers who are in the third and fourth year including postdoctoral researchers.
